Under the auspices of the Austrian Embassy
As part of the "Austrian cultural summer" program and under the auspices of the Austrian embassy, the musical trio "Ensemble Retro Wien" presented a classical music program in Kythnos with melodies from Mozart, Beethoven to Nino Rota and Manos Hadjidaki.

The Musical Trio "Ensemble Retro Wien", which consists of the excellent musicians Rosa Poulimenou - Mezzo Soprano, Natalia Strikou - Mandolin and Anastasios Strikos - Piano, have appeared in many international events, came to Kythnos and presented a wide range of well-known musical works that touched the soul of the participating public.
Rosa Poulimenou
Mezzo-soprano Rosa Poulimenou, with studies in Greece, England and Austria, has performed concerts in Greece, Italy, Spain, Israel, Belgium, France, England, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Thailand and the USA. She is performing opera, oratorio, lind, musical theater and contemporary music and has collaborated as a solist with well-known ensembles and orchestras and collaborated with famous conductors. At the same time, she is a Professor and head of the Monology Department of the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University, having also taught at important Music Academies and Universities abroad.
Natalia Strikou was born in Ukraine, where she studied nocturnal strings with Domra as the main instrument, while during her stay in the German speaking area she focused on the mandolin. She has performed in many European countries as a solist with piano or orchestral accompaniment as well as a member of chamber ensembles, she regularly collaborates as a principal with nocturne string ensembles, as well as a guest musician in major symphony orchestras such as the Maestri Orchestra of London, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna State Opera in works by Verdi, Mahler, Respighi, Prokofiev.

Anastasios Strikos
Anastasios Strikos, born in Athens in 1972, received a piano diploma with excellent degrees from the Attica Conservatory and a theater degree from the University of Athens, while he then studied conducting with a scholarship from the Athens Academy at the Music Academy of Würzburg. He worked at the Würzburg Opera House as a musical trainer and orchestra director. He later worked as a pianist and conductor in the famous Wiener Sängerknaben children's choir. His concert activity combines a wide range of repertoire, orchestras, choirs, halls and collaborators throughout Europe, while he has appeared in the most important concert venues in China, Korea and Macau. He has toured with over seventy ensembles throughout Europe, including the most important American Youth Symphony Orchestras. In 2005 he founded the musical trio Ensemble Retro Wien. He teaches and conducts in seven languages and has from time to time been busy translating plays and works of music theorists into Greek.
